What the Work Looks Like
You are in the trench installing water, sewer, and conduit lines on active job sites across Eastern Jackson County. One day that is utility trenching on a new residential development in Blue Springs. The next it is storm drainage work on a commercial pad in Lee's Summit or culvert installation on a county road project.
The work changes. What does not change is the expectation: pipe goes in on grade, on time, and done right. Kansas City clay adds a layer to all of it. The ground shifts with moisture, trenches can close up fast after rain, and a crew member who has seen that before is worth a lot more than one who has not.
Our Technology
ICON uses Topcon GPS machine control to cut trench grades and prep utility corridors. That means the grade the operator establishes is the grade your pipe has to follow. Crew members who understand how GPS-established grade translates to pipe bedding and installation do better work and catch problems before they turn into rework. You do not need to run the equipment. You need to understand what it is telling the job.

Our Core Values
We hire people who show up ready to work, take the job seriously, and make the crew better. If that sounds like you, you will fit in just fine:
